The fantastic Loriley, the founder of the Food Blogger community on Twitter (#fdbloggers) came up with the idea of getting to know each other better by answering her questions and share it with the #fdbloggerGTK hashtag.
The Food Blogger community has a chat hour every Thursday evening with a different topic each time. I met many wonderful and inspiring food bloggers at these chats and I fancy the idea to get to know each other by this hashtag.
Without further explanations here are my answers:

What was your reason for starting a blog?
The main reason I started this blog is that I needed a place where I can share my everyday life, my struggle with my weight, to keep me going, to keep me sane and where I can share my recipes. All in all, I needed a place that motivates and inspires me and where I can inspire others too. But read more in my ‘About me‘ page! 😉
What’s the dish you’re most proud of?
Lately, my carrot cake makes me most proud of myself! It’s not an ordinary cake here, so when I mention I baked carrot cake, most people just stares and grimace, but when they taste it…well I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t like it immediately! So it makes me really proud and happy!
What one kitchen utensil could you not live without?
It’s a hard decision, but I think I could not live without spoons…They’re versatile, so this is my choice.
You’re stranded on a desert island. What three ingredients do you take with you?
Hmm, well I think I would take camembert because I love them and I can’t imagine living without them, whole wheat bread (does it count as an ingredient?), because I’ll need something filling besides the cheese and water for obvious reason.
Who do you take inspiration from?
My fellow bloggers inspire me the most. It always amuses me how creative, how crafty, how talented they are, their recipes, ideas, photos are inspiring me all the time.
Your favorite social platform?
Can I please choose two favorites? Please please, please! *-* Well, Pinterest and Twitter are my ultimate favorite social platforms. Pinterest for its visuality and the endless ideas, Twitter for the communities and it’s the easiest way to engage others. You can follow me on the other social platforms too, but Twitter where I’m most active.
Biggest disaster in the kitchen?
To tell the truth, I have a LOT of kitchen disasters, but the most embarrassing that once I’ve burnt a whole pan of water…like normal, simple water and I managed to burn it…for my excuse, I was sick and fell asleep while I was boiling it…lucky I haven’t burnt down the house…The second most embarrassing disaster was when I was trying to make spaghetti bolognese and I completely burnt 500 gr meat…what a waste! It was awful, not mentioning the smell that filled the whole house!
Favorit spot for coffee?
Since there is no coffee shop in the city, I just grab one at the store and drink it at the office, but my favorite spot is my bed and the favorite coffee is what my fiancé makes…yummy!
What would you say was your most successful blog post and why?
My most successful blog post is without a doubt the Energy bars – No bake, no dairy, no flour, no added sugar recipe This is my most viewed post of all the time…
