In Hungary the Labor Day is on May 1st. In my town it means a torchlight procession the previous night. Here is my Torchlight procession and Labor Day.
I went to the torchlight procession with Laci. It’s a long tradition here, I went as a kid with my family, later I helped my mother supervise the kids – we encourage the town’s students, elementary school and high school too, to come the torchlight procession – and now as an adult I still supervise them! We gathered in the High School’s football field met our colleagues and the kids.
So here comes the pictures of the torchlight procession:
My grandparents always watch us on the torchlight procession.
The finish of the torchlight procession is in our agora where the concert has already started and the fun-fair was waiting for us! For the first time I tried the shooting gallery, of course I didn’t hit a thing, well that’s not true, I did hit 2 prizes, but I wasn’t suppose to, just the wand that holds them…well…yeah. Anyway the owner lady was a really sweetheart and gave me a plush dice key ring! 😀
Have a great weekend! 😀
