It’s officially over…Here is my Healthy New Year Challenge summary:
I’ll miss waiting for the new challenge every week. But I’m gonna stick to what I’ve already achieved, work on what I didn’t achieve yet. This way easier to live healthy!
Here are my experiences and my summary of the Healthy New Year Challenge: (more…)
The 6th week of the Healthy New Year Challenge finally arrived, this is the last week and I’m already miss it!
Last challenge went well, I took more protein, drank more, I paid attention to the portion and walked a lot in the last few days! 🙂
And now:
The last week brought the hardest challenge: Finding balance!
Finding balance is hard and important, not just in eating healthy, living healthy but generally in life. So this challenge will give my some headache, but I really hope I’ll find balance at least in eating and living healthier..
Okay, that’s all for now 😉
Keep calm, tomorrow is finally Friday! 🙂
(PS.:We’ll celebrate my brother’s birthday so relatives are coming, it’s gonna be a tiring day…)
I’m back to work! Yay! (Well, it’s not necessarily means I’m fully healthy, though) Also it’s our half anniversary today, Laci and I’ve been together for 7.5 years now! 😀 Aaand, only 15 days to the Blog’s first Blogiversary! Yay again!
About the Healthy New Year Challenge…Well I didn’t really succeed the whole grain challenge. The only whole grains I was able to purchase are whole oats and popcorn. But, I ate oat everyday, is that count?
While I was bedridden last week, I could hardly complete the daily hydration goal, this week is better, though, still don’t and can’t exercise, but the portion control goes well. I can’t wait to see some result!
Okay, so this week’s challenge is: Boosting Protein
I love this, I know how important the protein intake when ones on weight loss journey. The increased protein intake prevents you to lose weight from your muscles instead of the fat. So since I started to live healthier, I pay attention to intake more protein, it doesn’t mean, of course, that I always succeed! I ate more yoghurt (however, now that I think about it lately I eat less of it…), eat more eggs, chicken, marine fish and foods like that but somehow my protein intake was still low. Few weeks ago I went for the local drugstore to look for some protein powder (that doesn’t contain a lot of unnecessarily ingredients, goodness knows what they do to you…). So hopefully I’ll be able to boost my protein intake! 🙂
