Sharon Fruit! I live in a small city, with small shops, so its completely new here, I fall in love immediately. Why is that? Well, it’s great taste and texture, healthy and it’s low-calorie! So, this is my new favorite fruit! And my new favorite combination is Sharon and Banana!
The first thing I tried with the Sharon fruit is an easy salad, only two ingredients. The Sharon-Banana Salad:
I don’t know about you, but I love this combination. This salad is sweet enough, so no need any sweetener, it’s exotic enough (for me at least), easy to make, full of vitamins and low-calorie.
So the next thing I made is a Sharon-Banana smoothie, well that was amazing!
First, a few weeks ago I made a Banana froyo.
Banana Froyo recipe:
- 6 medium banana
- 1 orange zest and juice
- 500 ml plain/greek yoghurt
- 2 tbsp honey
Just blend everything, when it’s creamy, pour into a container, put it into the freezer (or an ice cream machine).
Sharon-Banana Smoothie recipe:
- 1-2 tbsp Banana froyo
- 1 Sharon fruit
- 0.5-1 cup Milk
Okay, so now that your own Banana froyo is frozen and delicious, add one or two spoon full into a blender, add the Sharon fruit and pour any milk you like. Blend them, and it’s done.
Both of them perfect for breakfast, they’re great workout food/drink and they’re filling.
