It’s the first week of the Advent, so as usual, we made DIY Advent Wreath! Actually, this time my mother made it, but it was still fun to watch.
Making DIY Advent Wreath is a tradition in my family, so we do it on the first weekend of Advent. It’s absolutely simple to make and always puts me in a happy mood.
We started with a simple evergreen base, but you can use any base you like. Then we placed 4 straw stars, under the candles. Decorationvise we used pinecones, walnuts, straw stars, straw angels and red berries. We used a hot glue gun to place everything on the evergreen base.
We sprayed the pinecones with glitter spray, then sprinkled with some gold flakes.
All in all, it turned out pretty good. Simple, but nice.
The glittery, gold flaky pinecones are my favorite pieces, obviously.
Also, I think the red bow takes the wreath to the next level.
I was just a kid when we got these straw stars, and we can still use them, year after year. Sometimes they end up on the Christmas tree, sometimes we put them on the dinner table and other times we use them to decorate the Advent wreath.
Do you make DIY Advent Wreath? Or do you have these traditions? Can’t wait to hear how your Christmas/Advent Wreath looks like!
