Hey Everyone!
We had beautiful weather, so yesterday we went for a little trip with my parents. First our destination was Bogács’s vine cellars, but luckily our trip didn’t ended there…Here is my Trip – Szalajka Valley.
We stopped at a gas station, Karcag to have a coffee, I ordered a Dallmayr Latte Macchiato and it was amazing!
I’m not really a coffee type, so its hard for me to find a tasty one, but it was absolutely worth to try! It’s creamy, light, not-too-sweet, not bitter, so perfect to me!
Our next stop was actually at the vine cellars of Bogács. Laci and my dad went in one and came back with 10 liter (about 2.6 gal) wine – red, white and rosé -. However, more than the half of it will be gifted away…
At Noszvaj, Síkfőkút we stopped to check out where was my grandparent’s honeymoon 🙂 It was really nice to see!
On the road to Bélapátfalva I spotted some paragliders! It was crazy, a dozen of them were already in the sky and at least three-four times more were still on the ground! They’re so brave, since I’m scared of heights, there’s no way I’m ever doing anything like that! But it was fascinating to see.
Next stop was Bélapávalva’s abbey. The air was so clean, everything was so calm, chirping birds, mild breeze and beautiful sight. We had a quick picnic there (didn’t left any trash there 😉 ).
It was our turning point, go further or go back home. I’m so happy we decided to go some more! The new destination was Szilvásvárad, Szalajka valley! If you ever come to Hungary, don’t miss this out, it’s beautiful!
So my Dad drove to Szilvásvárad, parked the car and we’re ready for a little walk. Well, it wasn’t little, but we didn’t know it yet…
The air was fresh and clean, the steam was cold and crystal-clear and full of waterfalls. As we walked the birds were constantly singing! 🙂
It’s a little piece of heaven to me, I love hills, montains, trees, flowers, birds, fresh air and now you’ll see how much I love water, steams, rivers and waterfalls! 🙂
I just fed him 🙂 Isn’t he adorable?
The lake was so clear, you can see the dozens of fish.
They even smoked trouts, they raise them there…
While working….
We walked 6 km to finally reached the Veil Waterfall. It was such a great walking, in an amazing environment, absolutely worth it!
So, 1.5 hour and 12 km later we were back to the car and finally ready to go home after a tiring and amazing day! Oh and I burned 1009 kcal with it. 😀
For hydration I took My Bottle with diced lemon lemonade inside, later it was lemon infused water, it was perfect and refreshing!
